इस दिन को भारत मे शहीद दिवस मनाया जाता है। या ये कहे कि इस दिन भारत ने अपने तीन अनमोल रतन खो दिए थे। इसी लिए इस दिन को भारत मनहूस दिवस भी कहता है। क्यों कि इस दिन भारतीय क्रांतिकारी भगत सिंह, शिवराम राजगुरु और सुखदेव थापर को एक साथ सन 1931, को फाँसी दी गयी थी। इन्होने अपने भारत माँ की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपने प्राण हशते - हशते दे दिए थे। इन भारतीय क्रांतिकारियों भगत सिंह , शिवराम राजगुरु और सुखदेव थापर का जन्म क्रमशः 28 सितम्बर सन 1907, 24 अगस्त सन 1908, 15 मई सन 1907 में हुआ था।

This day is celebrated as Martyr's Day in India. Or to say that on this day India lost its three precious rattan. That is why India also calls this day wretched day. Because on this day Indian revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Shivram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar were hanged together in 1931. He gave his life for the freedom of his mother India. These Indian revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Shivram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar were born on 28 September 1907, 24 August 1908, 15 May 1907 respectively.

1910 : डॉ राममनोहर लोहिया का जन्म हुआ । इनका जन्म उत्तर प्रदेश के जनपद फैजाबाद में हुआ था (Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was born. He was born in Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh.)


1931 : इस दिन को भारत में बहुत ही खास मनाया जाता है । इस दिन भारत के तीन क्रांतिकारियों को फाँसी दी गयी थी। (This day is celebrated as very special in India. On this day, three revolutionaries of India were hanged.)

1996 : इस दिन देश ताइवान में पहला प्रत्यक्ष राष्ट्रपति चुनाव हुआ, जिसमे ली टेंग हुई को राष्ट्रपति चुना गया । (On this day, the first direct presidential election was held in Taiwan, in which Li Teng Hui was elected President.)

2012 : दुनिया मे क्रिकेट के भगवान कहे जाने वाले सचिन तेंदुलकर ने इस दिन अपना 100 व सतक लगाया था, जो दुनिया मे ऐसा करने वाले इकलौते क्रिकेटर है। ( Sachin Tendulkar, who is called the God of Cricket in the world, put his 100 and Satak on this day, which is the only cricketer in the world to do so.)
